Welcome to Prahsys Tutorials. In this tutorial, you'll walk through the built-in PrognosiX tour: how it starts, how to prepare a scan, and where to track it.

Once your practice is live, this tour opens by itself on the Dashboard. It shows you how to get your first CBCT scan into PrognosiX, where every upload is de-identified, then run through PrognosiX AI to segment dental pulp tissue. Click Next to step through it. Your scans go here. Drag a DICOM .zip onto this panel, or click it to browse your computer.

Getting the folder shape right is most of the job, so the tour points you to the guide. Click How to upload. The blue box shows a good upload. Look at the folder: one .zip, holding one patient's folder, with the full series of .dcm image slices exported from your imaging software. The red box shows what to avoid. Here, two patients are mixed into one .zip. Upload one patient at a time, as a single .zip of CBCT slices: no loose files, other archive types, or screenshots.

After you upload, your scan shows up in the Scans table. Its status tracks de-identification and enhancement, and once it's done, you can open the scan to view it. Click Done to finish the tour. To take the tour again at any time, click Upload your first scan at the top right.

That's the built-in tour in PrognosiX. If you have questions, click the chat bubble in the bottom corner, then Send us a message. Our support team is happy to help. Thanks for watching Prahsys Tutorials.

Quick Steps

Start the tour

  • Once your practice is live, the tour opens by itself on the Dashboard until you finish it. It doesn't open in demo mode.

  • Click Next and Back to move through its six steps. If you open another page partway through, the tour picks up at the same step when you return to the Dashboard.

  • Start here: drag a DICOM .zip onto the Upload a scan panel, or click it to browse. One patient per .zip. Learn more →

Prepare a scan

  1. Click How to upload to open the How to upload a scan guide.

  2. Do this (blue): export the complete scan (the full DICOM series) from your imaging software, keep one patient's scan in a single folder, compress that folder into one .zip file, and upload the .zip.

  3. Avoid this (red): more than one patient in a folder or .zip, loose .dcm files or other archive types, non-CBCT scans, and reports, screenshots or "secondary captures". The .zip needs the scanner's actual image slices (the .dcm files).

Important: PrognosiX AI is an assistive, second-reader tool. It does not diagnose, and it is not a substitute for your own reading of the scan. During the current study period the device is investigational and for evaluation on de-identified data only. It is not FDA cleared and is not for diagnostic use or patient care. See the User Manual in your user menu for the full safety information.

Track your scans

  • Every upload appears in the Scans table. Its Status shows de-identification and enhancement. Open a finished scan to view it.

  • Click Done to finish the tour. To take it again at any time, click Upload your first scan at the top right of the Dashboard.
